OIL ON CANVAS | 2019 | 125 x 145cm
I chose abstraction because it is the closest to my heart, to use what is visible to depict what is invisible and to use what is invisible to convey one’s deepest perception. I respect the movements of perception and listen to how they transform. Each artwork of mine, therefore, is a momentary reflection of how I perceive things around me.
The paintings speak on my behalf to the viewers. When I start a painting, I let go of myself and follow where it takes me. Wherever I end up, these journeys always make me feel liberated. Imbued. Involved.
