The lush surroundings of Đại Lải Lake – the forests, green trees, and fresh air – fueled my imagination for an artwork designed to be a companion to the local pine trees. The vertical composition evokes a sense of intimacy and bonding, mirroring the harmonious relationship between everyday life and the surrounding natural world.
The piece also draws inspiration from the comforting words of my friends: “Don’t worry, everything’s gonna be fine.” In life, we often struggle to comprehend the vastness of the natural world, and in those moments, we seek an assurance, a kind of “god of luck,” to ground us and help us feel secure.
